A Letter From Our Founder

What began as a simple desire to help girls feel supported during one of the most natural parts of life quickly revealed something much deeper.

For millions of girls around the world, menstrual care is not simply about hygiene. It is connected to dignity, education, confidence, health, opportunity, and the ability to move through life without shame or limitation.

The Garden of P was created from the belief that every girl deserves access to care, support, and the chance to thrive—regardless of where she lives or the circumstances she faces.

Throughout 2025, this movement continued to grow through community partnerships, educational outreach, sustainable menstrual care initiatives, and the collective support of people who believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.

But this work is about more than providing products. It is about helping girls stay in school. Helping communities feel seen. Helping future generations inherit healthier, more sustainable systems rooted in compassion, dignity, and humanity.

Every contribution, partnership, conversation, and compassion moved to action has helped plant seeds that continue reaching far beyond what can always be measured.

To every supporter, partner, educator, volunteer, donor, and community member who has stood beside this mission, thank you.

Thank you for believing girls deserve better. Thank you for helping this garden grow.

With gratitude,

Victoria Boston, Founder, The Garden of P.

Our Mission

A Message From Our President

It has been an honor to witness the growth of The Garden of P. and the impact that can be created when people come together around a shared purpose.

In just one year, we have seen what is possible through compassion, partnership, and a commitment to ensuring that no girl is held back because of her period.

While period poverty is often viewed as a women's issue, its impact reaches far beyond women and girls alone. It affects families, education, communities, economic opportunity, and the future wellbeing of society as a whole.

This is a human issue.

When girls have access to the care, dignity, and support they deserve, entire communities are strengthened. Opportunities expand. Futures change.

I am grateful to every partner, donor, volunteer, educator, and supporter who has helped make this work possible. Together, we are proving that meaningful change happens when people choose to care, act, and invest in one another.

The work continues, and I am honored to be part of the journey.

With gratitude,

Troy Boston, President, The Garden of P.

Long-Term Economic Impact

Disposable menstrual products create an ongoing recurring cost that many girls, families, schools, and underserved communities struggle to sustain over time.

Research estimates that disposable menstrual products can cost anywhere from approximately $120–$300+ USD annually per person depending on region, accessibility, product type, and local economic conditions.

For thousands of girls, those recurring costs quickly become significant long-term financial burdens connected to education, health, confidence, and consistent menstrual care access.

Through The Garden of P.’s partnership model and reusable menstrual care initiatives, sustainable support solutions can be provided at approximately $10 per girl for three reusable period panties designed to provide longer-term access and support.

With more than 3,000 girls supported globally, this model represents our ability to reduce hundreds of thousands—and potentially millions—of dollars in recurring long-term menstrual care costs over time while simultaneously decreasing environmental waste and expanding dignity-centered care access.

Because sustainable solutions are not only about reducing waste.

They are about helping create more accessible, affordable, and resilient futures for girls and communities around the world.

Sustainability Matters

Throughout 2025, The Garden of P. continued prioritizing reusable menstrual care solutions designed to support both girls and the long-term wellbeing of communities and environments around the world.

Through partnerships helping provide reusable period panties and sustainable menstrual care resources, the movement helped reduce recurring financial barriers associated with disposable menstrual products while expanding longer-term access to menstrual care support for girls in underserved communities.

This approach not only helps create more consistent menstrual care access, but also contributes to reducing long-term waste and promoting more sustainable community-centered support systems over time.

The Garden of P. believes sustainability is humanitarian work — and that supporting girls through accessible, reusable menstrual care solutions helps create healthier futures for both people and planet alike.
